knock knock......

She lives..... Dez, for the first time in 2 days sat up in her bed and said I feel so much better. I dont think I have ever seen her so sick. Thanks so much for all the prayers. Im taking her to the doctor in just a bit to make sure her lungs are okay because she has a real chesty cough. Im not sure how Ive managed to avoid all the crud after wading around in her room piled full of tissue paper and the likes. In additin, Grant is still not 100% and it seems I carry his germs around on my shirt, LITERALLY!!! lol   I say I dont know how Ive avoided it but I know that God has been gracious to me. I think he just built us Mommas strong like that!  Ive also been taking that  EmergenC stuff twice a day and its seems to be helping.  Its tastes like poopy, but seeing how sick all my family was, I was willing to do just about anything!!

He lives as well, by he, I mean the Father. Hes been so faithful in revealing himself to me through his word this week. When is the last time God revealed himself to you through His word? My husband shared with me some wise words of wisdom a few days ago. He said  "You cant go around reading all these books and magazines expecting people to explain Gods word to you. He can do that, by you just reading His word" Seems simple but was profound to me... So, I take my bible in hand and pray, "Lord give me understanding, reveal yourself to me"  Again.... He is able!!
